The Honorable Gary Jackson

Gary Jackson has lived in Denver's Cherry Creek neighborhood for nearly his entire life.  Emphasizing education from an early age, he attended Steck Elementary School, the same school his mother,  Nancelia "Nancy" Scott-Jackson, attended in her youth.  Gary would become an attorney and in 1971, along with six other Black attorneys, founded the Sam Cary Bar Association.  In 2013, Gary was appointed to the. Denver County Court, serving seven years before retiring in 2020.  In his retirement, Gary remains active in historical presentations about Lincoln Hills.

Gary is married to Regina Jackson (also to be included in this project). Together Gary and Regina have two children and four grandchildren.
